About the Verbal Hedge

Son, you do talk some rubbish.

I started blogging about Little Project because I wanted to keep a diary of what I had been doing and I thought that perhaps a traditional diary would get oily and grubby.   The blog started to take over and became a sub little project of Little Project and I found that I enjoy writing (sometimes).

It turned out that I had more to say than I expected but not all of it was appropriate to the story of the little Honda with big ideas so I’ve created the verbal hedge for those thoughts that spring to mind and don’t have a home anywhere else.

The site is called The Verbal Hedge because it is a little bit of my name (bet you don’t know too many people called Verbal), because a verbal hedge is a grammatical term that sort of makes a statement have less impact and it is a bit relevant to my writing style and because I quite like the idea that there might be some sort of virtual organic boundary separating the posts that end up here from the Little Project posts.  I fully expect both blogs to visit from time to time, they’re kindred spirits.
